Animal Success Stories
We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

Ebby

Ebby with her new adoptive family! They are all lucky!!

Elsa
Elsa

Little Elsa came out of a bad situation at a senior age.. RORR was not going to let her spend her last days in a shelter and then die there. So Elsa came to RORR and into a wonderful foster home. At her age, the foster felt she would do well to stay with her foster to her end. Thank you, Vivienne for giving this little girl a loving home for her final days.

Emily

This is Emily, my RORR foster from several years ago. Emily was very old when I got her, blind, partially deaf, had had more than 90 puppies for a breeder, and had been thrown to his pitbulls to maul when she could no longer produce puppies. Nobody thought she would live, but I took her to ease the last days of her life. Many trips to the emergency vet ensued as she crashed from wounds and other issues. And then, an applicant appeared who wanted her. This goes to show that there really IS someone for every dog. I cried this morning when I opened this email and saw my Emily, not only alive, but looking so content, and with a luxurious coat I never got to see. And so loved. Her person went on and on about how Em and her other dog loved each other and how they all took walks and played in the yard and snuggled. This is rescue at its finest.

Ella

Here's a picture of Ella and her new family! Her new sister Ellie Mae, now Mae, is a RORR alum.

Eve

Hello, RORR Friends! Eve has fit right into our household perfecty, acting as if she belongs here, which she does! The kids (and adults, too) are in love with her, and I think the feeling is mutual! She loves all the toys and treats we got her. She is ready to play whenever we are but also ready to lie down and rest when we are. We couldn't have asked for a better dog:)
