Animal Success Stories
We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

Terrier Little Ones- Ole

Amazing how such a little package of a dog can bring so much light!

Taz

A friend on Facebook posted a picture of Taz, a beautiful schipperke. Upon seeing it we knew he was meant for us and we prayed we would be allowed to give him, his forever home. Today we brought him home. He is such a well mannered and lovable little guy. Zoe, our 6 mos old schipperke loves him. He fits right in and has only been here for 3 hours. He loves our huge yard to run in, has played Frisbee with us already, and plays with Zoe much to her delight. It is such a pleasure to see his tail wagging and to know he is content and happy. We lost our 1st schipperke, Pippy, in July of 2010, and then our Chihuahua of 14 yrs in December. Needless to say our hearts have been heavy and sore. We want to thank everyone involved for allowing us to fill some of that void with this little bundle of love and joy. Zoe thanks you too. We want his first family to know, he is loved and will be taken care of forever. And thank you for his well mannered gentle disposition. Taz on left and Zoe on right.

Tina

I thought you all would like an update on the dog named Tina that we adopted. We were suppose to adopt Reine but as things changed, we ended up adopting Tina, who has been renamed Sandy. At first she was very shy, so we just let her adjust at her own rate. She never let us out of her sight and gradually she came to us more and more for kind words and belly rubs. I put a comfy quilt on the floor in our bedroom and she slept comfortably all night. She is eating well and becoming more comfortable with her suroundings. This morning she did more exploring and even pulled toys out to play with. She is a very well mannered, sweet tempered girl and fits in very well with our lives. We just keep reassuring her that she has found her forever home and need not worry about anything anymore. Thank you all for giving us such a precious Christmas present. We will cherish her for a long time to come! She loved PetSmart and meeting new people. She knocked a little boy down and mugged him with kisses, he loved it and came back a second time for more! She chased her first rabbit yesterday but didn't catch it. Everything is working out very well. We are truely blessed to have her in our lives, thank you again, and again, and again!!
