Once upon a time there was a glorious purebred German shepherd. A total aristocrat! Her castle was surrounded by a tall fence. On the other side of that fence was a very handsome purebred Border Collie. Border colies are very smart and also agile. What's a six foot fence when true love is on the other side. And now there are puppies! One girl, one boy (Cher and Sonny, both listed on our website). Beautiful mixes of two amazing, very smart, and, shall we say, determined dogs. The intelligence of these puppies is going to be off the scale. You can see it already. They can learn anything! They are strong and sturdy like mama, and have her longer legs. Pair that with dad's agility and you have a dog that is one in a million. A wonder! They seem to have inherited more of their father's size, as they are only 20 lbs. now and will probably only go to around 40 lbs. You have puppies that have gotten a huge dose of loyalty from both parents and the ability to move into an active family and keep up with anything you might possibly want to do. If you are a jogger, you have just found your running partner. Hiking? How far would you like to go? Straight up that mountain? Sure, piece of kibble! Water skiing, surfing? Hey, I'll give it a try. These puppies are young, so they have their entire lives in front of them to be your companion. You will never, ever find another dog like Cher and Sonny. We would like to adopt them separately, so each of them can grow to their own potential with their humans. This is a chance of a lifetime to get a dog like this!
NOTE: They have been raised so far with 4 children, so they should be comfortable with children. They appear to be fine with cats, too.
