Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Jack is rapidly becoming a popular boy with the humans in this rescue. His foster says he is a wonderful dog. In fact, this is exactly what she has to say about him..."Jack would likely be his best dog self if he could be in a home with another dog who can play with him and give him confidence. He is probably well-suited for a home that’s not in a city. A big yard where he (and ideally his puppy pal) could frolic and then come inside for snuggles would be great. He could adjust to city living in time, but all else equal, probably better in suburbs or more rural. He does have a high prey-drive. Squirrels make him go crazy always. It makes me suspect his reaction to cats might not be good. That said, I haven’t tested. He is good on a leash and generally well-behaved with other dogs. He is such a great dog, loves his humans and other dogs. He plays well at the dog park. He is past the puppy stage and is an all around wonderful dog. Jack's ideal home would have a fenced yard so he can run and play and he needs a doggy buddy to help tire him out. He would be a wonderful hiking buddy. Camping anyone? If you love being in the outdoors, Jack will be your steady companion and love every minute.
