Learn more about the Labrador Retriever.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

So young, really just on the tail end of puppyhood, Abigail is all ready to learn exactly what you want her to know. She has the friendly personality of the Labrador and a big dose of loyalty from her shepherd side. A great combination for anyone looking for a best friend and/or family dog. She would love for you to introduce her to the great big world out there and is looking forward to walking by your side for many, many years and adventures. She is a solid, medium sized dog, with all her shots and  completely vetted for you. She is going to look up at you and say so clearly with those big, brown eyes, "Take me home, let me be all yours forever". A good temperament and a beautiful dog. What a combo!

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: Abby is a very active girl. The potty training is going very well. A home without small children is recommended due to her size and jumping.Dog savvy kids would be okay. Abby would really benefit from another big dog to play with. Also a fenced yard would be ideal, she is super active and agile. She can JUMP unbelievably high. So personally I think at least a 4 ft fence. She is truly very sweet, wary of strangers, but loves her people. She would be a great addition to an active home with another furry friend.
