Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

All his life Tanner has been loved and cared for and his temperament and spirit shows that. Recently his happy home was filled with sirens, flashing lights, and medical personnel. His beloved person was taken away and "didn't make it".  Tanner is now hoping for someone or a family that he can once again adore. He's just made that way. He gives his heart entirely. It must be the loyal shepherd in him. His foster says he is such a great dog and hopes some lucky person will come along soon so Tanner can have his own person again. Here is what they say about him..." This gentleman is a love bug to anyone he meets instantly, does well with other dogs and children.  It is unknown how he is with cats.  He is also crate trained and housebroken. He does well on a leash and has never shown signs of aggression towards people or other animals.  Tanner is the happiest boy and loves to get and give affection!" A perfect dog? About as close as it gets!

Note:  Vet has recommended Tanner lose at least 30 pounds. He has been fed a little too well and, as his person was older, he didn't get the exercise he needed to stay trim. If you like to go on walks, Tanner will love every minute and shed those pounds extra in no time. He may be an older dog, but he is also a wiser, more loving one. He has what is important in life all figured out.
