Lucy Lab
The ride home was uneventful (after she got in the car). She settled down pretty quick. Lucy's favorite spot is on the landing to the upstairs there is a 2 story foyer. She did not want to get on David's bed last night but when David's alarm went off this morning she jumped right up to say good morning.
She met Crosby, a neighbor's dog, yesterday and they liked each other.
Thanks for letting us adopt her, we feel very lucky to have such a wonderful dog.
Sincerely,
Nanci
Logan
Today marks the one year anniversary of when Logan joined our family and literally changed our lives forever. It's odd how a year sounds like such a short time to us, because I can hardly remember what life was like before him.
I was never really one to repeat slogans and sentimental sayings, such as those you see posted to web sites, but since introducing Logan into our lives, I find myself reading them and agreeing with them. He really has shown us what unconditional love is and has taught us many things about character, loyalty, and just plain joy of being with those you love. Sorry if I'm getting a little sappy, but I think the occasion warrants it in this case.
I wish that I could say that his health was better and that he would be with us for a lot longer, but I am afraid that fate doesn't have that in store for us. Today, however, we are celebrating his anniversary and we are grateful that he is here with us and we will be thankful for every day that he can stay in the coming days.
We want to thank you for bringing him into our lives. You helped inspire us to follow in your footsteps and, as Susanne mentioned before, we have been doing rescue work, so that we may play some part in bringing others (dogs and humans) the happiness that Logan has brought us.
Logan sends a big, wet lick and thanks you too.
Bryon and Susanne
