Tip
Bruce and I wanted to send a quick update on how Tip is doing. He has adjusted to life great! He is not constantly on the hunt for food or chowing down every bit of his dog food as soon as he gets it. He knows there will always be food in his bowl for feeding time and even shares food and water bowls with his little brother, Banjo. Banjo and Tip play constantly by chasing each other around the house and around the yard. Surprisingly, Banjo is usually the Chaser, & Tip is the Chasee. LOL :-) They both love chasing birds in the backyard and playing with their endless toys. Tip absolutely loves people and has really come out of his shell!
Last night Tip graduated Obedience School! I have attached two pictures. One is of him in his graduation cap and the other is his "diploma."
Bruce, Banjo, and I are so happy to have Tip in our life and are ecstatic to see that he is happy to be here!
Blessings to you and yours.
Warm regards,
Kara, Bruce, Tip, Banjo
:-)
Trooper
We just had to update you on German shepherd Merlin (aka Trooper) who is doing remarkably well. We had a DNA test done and he's 100% GSD with a white shepherd in the blood line giving him his unusual coloring. Our boy now nudges me awake every morning and slobbers over cheese - he has fattened up a little while not overweight and looks simply gorgeous and adores his buddy Chloe also a shepherd. Merlin has changed a lot from his first weeks and is no longer shy but barks seldom unless he's being protective. Yesterday he greeted a very sad friend by placing his paws on his shoulders and licking him - our boy is very, very loving and perceptive! (He is also huuuuge!) Thanks again for our laughing boy Merlin Hagrid - he's a real gem. Happy New Year from us all.
