We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -
Happy Tails on Zenfolio |
Its been awhile since I've given an update on Hope. She is doing just fine. She no longer goes after the other food bowls. She sits and waits until I say she's a good girl then eats her food. She absolutely loves belly rubs.
Hope is a good girl and we love her. She and Malachi are still playing and rough housing every day.
Have a blessed day,
Carol
Update (2/11/15)-
I don't think we could've gotten a better match for us. Malachi loves her and they play hard. It's so good to see him rough housing again. They were home alone yesterday and everything was fine. Even Moty is getting a few tug of war times in, which he loves. We took her to the pet store and everybody loved her. She was well behaved and gentle with the little ones, got along with all the dogs there. She sleeps with Denny, the boys sleep with me. I think she's happy, she greets us with a big smile every day!Carol
His first couple of weeks were rough. He was pretty sick to the point the vet though he might be in organ failure but she was able to treat the infection and get him on the road to health. Then he needed a tooth pulled because it was infected.
At some point during all of that he realized we loved him and he finally left the closet he hid in next to our vacuum cleaner. He then moved under our bed and I woke up to his fuzzy head sticking up above the mattress each morning. Eventually he left the bedroom and came downstairs. Now he is my shadow always this.close to me. He's so scared of going out the door though he's made amazing progress with housebreaking.
He's amazing and I can't believe someone else wouldn't want him. My 3 year old tells us, "I love my Walter." We do, too.
