Good Boy Gus
GUS is a story of "unconditional love"! A story told through the eyes and heart of one very special Siberian Husky! And yes Ellee Neilands the "howling" too! It is a story of a lost dog -- a found dog -- a dog loved -- a man loved. It is a story of emotional turmoil for both man and his dog. A story that neither thought they would be living at such a young age -- both man and dog! It is a story of "why"? It is a story of a dog wondering why he wasn't by his Daddy's side when he needed him the most. It is a story of a man that loved his dog SO much that he decided to let him go as hard as it was for him to do---but he knew that he was fighting the fight of his life! This is a story of others getting involved to help this man and his dog---a friend, a rescue, a kennel, an ex-wife and a son! A son that wants to be a BIG part of this dog's life because this dog is part of his Dad! This is a story that only God knows how it will end but you can bet that God worked through many people to bring this dog back to his man by way of a friend, a rescue, a kennel, an ex-wife and a son! Because you see this man loved his Siberian Husky so much that he let him go -- But God knew this man needed his Siberian Husky so if only for a day here or there, this man will see his Siberian Husky because there is "unconditional" love all around this man and his dog! Although this dog and this man will not live under the same roof it has been said there will be visits for this man and his dog! God knows what this man and his dog needed and HE provided through a friend, a rescue, a kennel, an ex-wife and a son! GUS says "thank you" RORR!!! God is Good!
Griggs
Griggs has settled in so well, we couldn’t be happier. We have been walking him without the collar after each meal around the yard, within the confines of the fence, and he is now having no issues with depositing on the lawn.
I design and sell electronic security systems and have to deliver equipment to my subcontractors for installation. Griggs comes along for the ride at the end of the day and is quite the social butterfly with my clients.
He has seen, first hand, a blue heron that has tried to clear out our pond and a toad near a landscape light last evening. He looks at everything like he is seeing it for the first time. He is making us appreciate everything more.
Griggs stares at the washing machine and jumps back, cocking his head to the side, each time it changes cycles.
Thought you might appreciate these funny stories and some more photos of he and Sammie.
Have a great weekend!
